The Heart Of Texas Suzuki Organization
I have been an active member and Treasurer of HOTSO since 1998. We are an organization of Suzuki Piano teachers in central Texas. We hold a weekend Suzuki Piano institute each January and have ongoing teacher and parent enrichment programs.

The Suzuki association provides a lot of useful information, articles and discussion for Suzuki teachers and parents. There is also a directory of upcoming institutes and workshops.
Greater Austin Suzuki Association
GASA is an active Suzuki organization providing events for String teachers , parents and students in the Austin area. We hold a string institute in July / August.
Austin Friends of Traditional Music
A great resource for traditional American music, especially old time fiddling. AFTM organizes a really nice Austin String Band Fest each October.

Based in Dallas/ Fort Worth, OIMR is a great resource for anyone interested in learning about Irish traditional Music.
